At the house guests have enjoyed archery, bushcraft, tennis lessons, murder mystery, cabaret evenings, magicians, yoga, fitness training and even sushi-making. For something more relaxing we have Yolande a Champneys trained therapist who can offer traditional and alternative treatments.
If you fancy something completely different then we can probably arrange it – please just ask!
We have golf within 10 minutes, canoeing within 15 minutes and shooting at a school run by a British Champion within 40 minutes.
During the Summer there are a whole array of water based courses offered for kids at Whitlingham Country Park including RYA sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.
The Norfolk Broads are 30 minutes away and we can help you take to the water in anything from a canoe to a traditional Norfolk Wherry complete with champagne picnic.
There are an array of sandy beaches and up-market seaside towns - including Southwold and Walberswick - within 40 minutes, the stunning North Norfolk coast is less than an hour away.
Historic Norwich with its castle, cathedral, range of museums and independent shopping are just 15 minutes away.
There are stately piles including the Queen's home at Sandringham to visit, numerous National Trust houses and some stunning RHS recommended gardens. Norfolk and Suffolk are also getting a reputation for winemaking and there are 3 local vineyards to visit which offer tours and tastings.
For children there are a number of award winning attractions including Bewilderwood, Banham Zoo, the Dinosaur Adventure Park and for older children a Go Ape tree top adventure within 40 minutes.
